In early October, 2009 Sergio Natera and Anna McElaney were indicted by a Grand Jury on three counts:  Conspiracy to Commit Bank Fraud, Bank Fraud, and Aiding and Abetting.  What was their crime?  They were flipping short sales.  Without going into great detail they were getting a contract from an end buyer at one price, then inserting themselves as principals in the transaction as straw buyers performing a short sale at a lower price then pocketing the difference.  This is not that uncommon among investors.  It is possible you have done this too!  This will be the next topic in the Inner Circle Community Forum.  Download the indictment here then go to the Community Forum to discuss it.
